Human-Animal Hybrid Sculptures

I took a workshop at Radius with Jai Sallay-Carrington. They specialize in “figurative ceramic sculptor whose practice examines human identities, behaviours, and emotions through anthropomorphic forms.” Over a weekend, Jai walked us through the process of creating bodies from slabs and animal heads. I used this same technique later to create a cursed demon statue.
