Ikebana
I study Ikebana with the Sogetsu school. Part of my practice includes making vases for my floral creations. I love the juxtaposition of the permanence of ceramics and the ephemeral nature of plant materials
Ceramics
From functional ceramics for Ikebana to sculpture, I love making expressive objects. My latest venture is in glaze chemistry. Nothing beats the surprise of opening the kiln and seeing the result of new glaze recipe tests.
Painting
From watercolor to oil paint, I paint soulfies, bacterias, dream landscapes, and more. I enjoy the process of automatic painting, letting whatever needs to emerge without passing judgement.
Shrimp Teeth
Shrimp Teeth originated as a daily illustration project that explored polyamory, queerness and sexuality. Over seven years, it blossomed into something far bigger, and culminated in my first book, Polyamorous Advice You Won’t Get From Your Monogamous Friends.
